Super Silly, I decided to become a Birthday Clown at the advice of my oldest Granddaughter who suggested that I should make other kids laugh the way I kept everyone at home rolling and giggling. I have entertained since childhood but chose not to endure the rigors of road travel and rejections at casting calls after marriage.
Make-up has been my capital challenge with my glasses and coffee colored skin. I chose a glamorous look over zany after the theatrical grease-paint refused to last during the exertion of dancing and game playing. Cover girl tends to work best for me as I have found that it stays on the longest.
Not only do I love making everyone laugh, I really like introducing a new generation of children to the games I played with my siblings and friends as a child. Games like;
Little Sally Walker
Red Light - Green Light
And The Hokey Pokey never go out of style because they get kids hopping and I bring prizes for the winners.
When it comes to music, nothing can top the soulful hits of the Sixties and Seventies. Artist like James Brown and The Jackson 5 keep a party in full effect. I also enjoy Hip-Hop…as long as the music is clean. The Soul Train Line is an all time favorite and the Conga Line dares anyone to stay sitting down.
I must admit, I like to party - Good clean fun is the order of the day. I play my Harmonica and I have Puppets that help me dramatize classic stories like, The Three Little Pigs and The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
I am truly Blesses to do what I love right here in my own home town, rather than crossing the country to seek fulfilling work. It is my deepest wish to continue CLOWNING for a long time as I write my books and poems. I also enjoy a variety of arts and crafts, gardening, selling interesting items on eBay ( my seller name is Madamxtra) look me up sometimes and catch a great deal.
I’m a shutter-bug, snapping photos (mostly nature) all the time - I keep a camera with me, and I’m leaning to produce my own videos and movies…I know a real dream come true…Thanks to terrific people like you*
